Oh dear... So, I just calibrated my thermo/hygro... Left it in 7-10 minutes..... Came back... It was only down to 36.
That's right, 36.... Last time I calibrated it, it went to 33 and I figured that was belivable and edited that into my readings. But 36??? I'm going to try again... And if it still comes back 36, I know why my eggs died...
My LG thermo got left in for 10 minutes and came back exactly 32.... Would be rather lousy if the LG was better than this one.

Soo... Now I'm officially nervous.... I hope I have time to order another thermo before the HAL.

I'm just going to be glad to finish the dang thing. Husband keeps saying we should put it off until spring but I want to get it done before April when there's a ton of rain. The old coop isn't gonna last much longer.

I know you probably went with the plastic panel for the light they'll let in, but be prepared to replace them in a few years; the UV rays will get to them, if the wind doesn't tear them up first. I used them over a dog run years ago.

We're buying a UV resistant paneling specifically made for roofing. I did a lot of research on different types of clear paneling and the UV resistant kind worked best for what we're wanting. I may end up replacing it in four years anyway. All i know is NEVER AGAIN with pressure treated wood.
