Unless the hens had a very long molt, and the rooster did not breed during that time, fertility should still be adequate from breeding which took place before the molt. Wishing you the best.I got 12 eggs in my incubator going on lock down tomorrow but I dont think they going to hatch because my chickens are molting and I have just read an article about molting that said roosters dont fertilize eggs when they in molt, huh ug![]()
NO. Those chicks are too old. They would not bond to her, and she would not bond to them. Most likely, she would reject and maybe even kill them. IMO, your hen is not fully broody, and you are wasting your time trying to get her to hatch eggs for you.Would it be okay to give her all the chicks from the previous hatch.

Try sneaking in your two least favorite chicks tonight and she how she does. If she does good you can sneak in the rest over another day or two.
