It's supposed to be if someone found the information helpful but half the time they end up being for likes.

The funniest part is that every time I make dinner, I end up waiting for dinner and making dessert while waiting. But my family makes dinners together, and we each make something.
Speaking of dessert, my son made an awesome cheesecake last night and I had the first piece this morning. I'm not a desert person but it was good enough I may have another piece tonight or tomorrow if any is left.

I,am worried.it's only day 20,for goose egg number one and the embryo is already taking up the whole egg.and the air cell has dipped a lot in just two days.
Growing is a good thing. If your humidity is correct, don't worry.
My best advice is to step away from the incubator, keep your hands off of the eggs. Let nature take its course. Geese and other birds have been hatching without candling for a million years.

use a 2x4 on its side, as I said in the post reply, on its side the more area for feet the better for the chickens feet in winter to prevent frost bite! some even staple outdoor green plastic carpet on them cause poo brushes right off and they are sprayable!!

oh come on, seriously? You whites? you know how much crap I have built and wood I have cut already!! its not like I am a saw newbie by any means lmao!!!

I used a saw and worked with wood more than he ever did in his life! I guarantee that! Althought he would argue that point ha ha

I'm happy to hear when people aren't afraid to tackle construction projects. And are good at it.

no but just got off the phone with my friend should be out there in a few days...
I'd rather be fishing than most things...at least that you wear clothes for anyway. .
I'm with you. Chickens and gardening are eating up way too much time.

Here is my silver cot that hatched yesterday. Has curled toes. I forget what that means. Too dry? To hot? ...
When I get curled toes it is usually from them being in the egg too long pushing.

The only reference to toes in studies is for crooked toes or spraddle leg. In those cases research references low or high incubator temperature, inadequate nutrition or smooth bottome hatching tray. I suspect that latter is about spraddle leg.

yes you chop to depth a bunch of times and then hold saw down to depth position and push//pull the wood and it chips it off for you, but I didnt tell you how to do this!!! you learned it on your own!!

nice demonstration
the closer the kerf cuts, the easier the side to side works.

Eeek no way!! I do the trenches with the saw but sliding it sounds like it would make it kickback!!

I'll stick with my nice, slow, SAFE chisel chipping.

Sorry but that just sounds like a bad idea.

Chisel works.

Table saws will kick back but not miter/chop saws.
That's what the anti-kickback pawls are for on a table saw.

I have to make my own food! I hate cooking, love food, so it's worth it to make it. I grow all my own fruits and veggies. But the squirrels love strawberries and no matter how hard I try, They rip their little paws through whatever I put around them. My strawberries...
Growing, harvesting and cooking are all good endeavors.

Try this for the squirrels.

Good for you! Truly cook cooking honestly mostly depends on really good fresh ingredients, and just trying to enhance without messing them up. You're most of the way there - your cooking is in your garden!!!

There's absolutely nothing wrong with raw either.

some day I will go to the USA and we all will meet in a place that everyone can come to and we will cook the gratest meal that the world is ever seen!!
Sounds like a plan.
We have those events frequently for our local 800 member chicken meetup group.
I'm one of the organizers and we had a huge potluck at historic Tower Grove park Saturday that I had to bail on because I was under the weather.

Look what someone at work through out.
Bonus!!!

@Akrnaf2 Benny, with all your wonderful food, I wish you could have been here to cook my home grown T-bone steak. What I did to it was a sacrilege. Still good though

Rule #1 don't overcook good steak. An overcooked steak is dry and tasteless.
Rule #2 fire it on a grill if at all possible, otherwise a good hot skillet.
Rule #3 season with sea salt and cracked pepper, possibly rosemary.
Rule #4 leave the A1 and other steak sauces in the refrigerator to save for ground beef, they have no place anywhere near a good steak.
