Speaking of dessert, my son made an awesome cheesecake last night and I had the first piece this morning. I'm not a desert person but it was good enough I may have another piece tonight or tomorrow if any is left.

Growing is a good thing. If your humidity is correct, don't worry.
My best advice is to step away from the incubator, keep your hands off of the eggs. Let nature take its course. Geese and other birds have been hatching without candling for a million years.

When I get curled toes it is usually from them being in the egg too long pushing.

The only reference to toes in studies is for crooked toes or spraddle leg. In those cases research references low or high incubator temperature, inadequate nutrition or smooth bottome hatching tray. I suspect that latter is about spraddle leg.

I'm one of the organizers and we had a huge potluck at historic Tower Grove park Saturday that I had to bail on because I was under the weather.

Rule #1 don't overcook good steak. An overcooked steak is dry and tasteless.
Rule #2 fire it on a grill if at all possible, otherwise a good hot skillet.
Rule #3 season with sea salt and cracked pepper, possibly rosemary.
Rule #4 leave the A1 and other steak sauces in the refrigerator to save for ground beef, they have no place anywhere near a good steak.
