ha ha ha dontcha love itUpdate on my cooking strike.... 16 year old is pacing right in front of me... Not sure what he is thinking.....
Wondered where you'd gotten off to. Glad you're on the mend. It's supposed to be if someone found the information helpful but half the time they end up being for likes.
Speaking of dessert, my son made an awesome cheesecake last night and I had the first piece this morning. I'm not a desert person but it was good enough I may have another piece tonight or tomorrow if any is left.
Growing is a good thing. If your humidity is correct, don't worry.
My best advice is to step away from the incubator, keep your hands off of the eggs. Let nature take its course. Geese and other birds have been hatching without candling for a million years.
I'm happy to hear when people aren't afraid to tackle construction projects. And are good at it.
I'm with you. Chickens and gardening are eating up way too much time.
When I get curled toes it is usually from them being in the egg too long pushing.
The only reference to toes in studies is for crooked toes or spraddle leg. In those cases research references low or high incubator temperature, inadequate nutrition or smooth bottome hatching tray. I suspect that latter is about spraddle leg.
nice demonstration
the closer the kerf cuts, the easier the side to side works.
Chisel works.
Table saws will kick back but not miter/chop saws.
That's what the anti-kickback pawls are for on a table saw.
Growing, harvesting and cooking are all good endeavors.
Try this for the squirrels.

There's absolutely nothing wrong with raw either.
Sounds like a plan.
We have those events frequently for our local 800 member chicken meetup group.
I'm one of the organizers and we had a huge potluck at historic Tower Grove park Saturday that I had to bail on because I was under the weather.

Rule #1 don't overcook good steak. An overcooked steak is dry and tasteless.
Rule #2 fire it on a grill if at all possible, otherwise a good hot skillet.
Rule #3 season with sea salt and cracked pepper, possibly rosemary.
Rule #4 leave the A1 and other steak sauces in the refrigerator to save for ground beef, they have no place anywhere near a good steak.
5 quail chicks and more on the way today has been good.

Quote: My son wanted hedgehogs badly for his birthday (which are illegal here too) But I did some searching and found him a pair. They are very expensive now (which when I worked in pet stores years ago they were about $50 each). But they were a complete waste of $$. They are strictly nocturnal, so you will never ever see them up running around unless you sit awake in the dark to watch. They keep the boys up at night from running on the wheel and banging the water bottle. They are as prickly as you'd imagine, so nearly impossible to hold, and when you do hold them you wear gloves or brace yourself for the pricks. My son even admitted it was a waste. So, I wouldn't be too sad that you can't get one. Ferrets are pretty cool though!
I know, right?????I just read hundreds of post to catch up and have nothing to add tho the conversation....how sad....![]()

Quote: Love it! My 2 oldest would treat me like crap every day I'd pick them up from the bus stop a mile away. The last time was so bad, and I mean bad...they get in I'm all smiles (How was your day) Nasty replies from both...So, I said, you're done ruining my afternoons with your bad attitude. Tomorrow I won't be picking you up from the bus stop, you can walk. And they did......they have been very respectful when I pick them up since that day.
