I drew horses all the time. I've loved horses as long as I can remember. I never could get the head or upper part of the neck to suit me. Kentucky Club pipe tobacco used to have contests to name horses (or win them...can't remember anymore (I was just a 10 or 11 year old kid) and I entered them at every opportunity). I have no idea what I'd have done if I'd won one, living on a 60' x 100' lot in town, but I was horse crazy. Never got my 1st horse 'til '82,had 6 or 7, all gaited stock (TWH), before I quit running field trials, which is why I had them in the 1st place. Even foaled a couple. Had two struck & killed by lightning, & my 1st one, an ex big lick show gelding, killed by an automobile in Illinois.
