Off topic but important...

To all you ladies out there - PLEASE GO GET YOUR MAMMOGRAMS DONE NOW

My MIL will probably pass away today from breast cancer, and my sister in law (unrelated) who has 2 small children was diagnosed a week ago, and it has already spread.

One in 8 women will get this!!!
That means us.

It is too easy to find excuses not to go, but it is usually curable if found early.

If nothing else please go for your family.

My mil had her life saved because of someone doing just the same.. Never crossed her mind and is a survivor!

I hope everyone is having a great Sunday, even if we did lose an hour! I found someone reasonably close that will give me a good deal on some EE eggs for my school hatching project, so I am excited about that! We spent a beautiful Saturday working on our coop. The weather couldn't decide this morning if it was going to rain or not and snow is possible tonight so we didn't put the flooring down.

When I was in 5th grade I had a teacher who had us build a chicken coop.. He then had one egg in a bator that he sent home with each kid for a few days.. It hatched in my day without further instruction and it had a twisted leg... My mom was so upset she donated chickens to the project. In hindsight.. He should have done a classroom hatch.

You sure he was a teacher? Sounds more like an enabler to me

That would be traumatizing! I am hoping that things go well for our hatch and I don't emotionally scar my sixth graders.
