INCUBATING w/FRIENDS! w/Sally Sunshine Shipped Eggs No problem!

I have the octagon 20 and it's been fine no problems at all. It's constantly on the move if you have the turning cradle so any movement is very gentle.
I have to say when I first got it the angle of turn was pretty scary at first and I had visions of eggs falling out but if you take care setting its good.

I do have the turner, and it seem to be very good with the way I've packed the eggs. Only 1 egg is too small, and it keeps tipping over. But at least it's tilting with all the others.

I'm actually borrowing this incubator from someone to try out (like I need another incubator around here!). I've heard so many good things about them but at the same time, he has had horrible hatches with it. So, I'm curious about it. What's your opinion on it?

I just got mine, and this is the first hatch I'm using it for. I'm hoping it lives up to it's hype!

Some of the smaller eggs I do use the foam inserts for the dividers to hold them in place. If I'm only doing a small hatch I use the foam inserts in all of the dividers ~

But I can't help adding eggs so the foam inserts have to go to make more room!! You have the 40 Wish I had go that one now so I could get even more in

I was going to buy the 20, but I currently have incubators that hold 40 eggs, so my logic was - if I want to replace one I already have, then I have to get the 40. Unfortunately, i filled both, plus I have the 3rd up and running, to possible start some more....

I am addicted.....

Yes, it is where the spine curves. There isn't a cure, because scientists still don't really know what it's caused by. There are different braces for it though, and I'm going to get one soon. Two other girls at my school have it, but were diagnosed in 6th grade. We're in 8th grade now. One of them doesn't need to wear the brace anymore, the other only wears it at night. It's extremely hot and bulky. The required time to wear it is 20 hours at least. They look like in the picture, mine will look similar. I'm extremely unhappy about this. The brace has been known to cause psychological damage in people wearing it because they are usually about 12 when they get it, and obviously it's weird to other people that don't understand. I don't have a brace yet, it's being made, but here's the general idea.

Have you looked into getting treated at the nearest Shriner's Hospital? They've been on the cutting edge of scoliosis research and treatment for some time now. They will not only handle your care, any supplies and equipment you might need, but they also have a travel fund which takes care of your and one parent's expenses to the hospital, your hotel, and your meals. I worked for the Shriners in San Diego in the 70s and 80s and loved what I did. My hubby has been a Shriner for many years. My granddaughter, Kendra, who was born with Spina BIfida, has been a "Shrine Kid" for almost all of her 4 years and none of us have ever paid a single dime out of pocket. If I'm overstepping my bounds here, I do apologize.
