Coffee not working. At all. And I need to teach today. I think I need a coffee IV...

Amazing, isn't it? MHP or heating panel is so much better than a heating lamp. Calm quiet chicks that sleep through the night, and SO much easier to transition them to "real" chicken life outside (where the sun goes down).

This would be SO dangerous for me. They are SO SO SO cute - it's all I can do to get in and out with feed (and no chicks)!!!

Brisket!!!! This looks a little like corned beef - appropriate for St. Patrick's Day. Yum!!!!

I had the same problem when I worked part-time for Tandy Leather. Spent way more than I should have on tools 'cause I got a 10 discount. Then the boss started stealing tools & giving them to me so's I'd keep my mouth shut about his "extra curricular" activities with one of the other employees. I lasted longer than he did

Happens to me all the time. Every once in a while though, I'll get into the nest full of 10+ inch crappie and it makes catching all the little runts worth it! I think they may be my favorite to eat, but a 2lb channel cat is mighty tasty too... Much bigger than that they get a little tough.

I know what you mean! 10" tends to turn me on, too. Largest I ever got was 15", from the same water we caught the "dinks" in yesterday.

Yes, you should make it into a cave, it is really easy. If you don't have hardware cloth, improvise! See what you can find, and I'm sure you have a pillowcase.
