Did I tell you about the Grammy who brought her GD "Susie") back here after a visit here with my GD? She was not at all happy, b/c Susie had a box that my GD had given her. She had hidden it under her bed. Seems that the girls found a pretty little green egg sitting on the counter. I set it there b/c the egg basket was full. Well, Susie thought that egg looked lonely, so the girls took a little box, lined it with grass and feathers, and Susie took it home and hid it under her bed to hatch. Her Grammy was not at all pleased!

And can anyone tell me what this is?? I had to help a dried out chick. Membrane was glued to its wing it could not do anything. Then when it came out this was there stuck to its rump.

About the size of a quarter to half dollar.

Nope....normal air cell and low humidity. I kept humidity around 13% to 20%. I couldn't get it high consistently. Maybe my hydrometer is a piece of s***. This is beginning to make me angry. I can't even get CLB pullets. I am so frustrated!

now I see that ross, I am scared for the rest of them eggs dang!!!!

Yep me too.

Hi Everyone. Wow awesome DUCKs!!!!!

I've just been slammed, still incubating, changing over to EEs, Americaunas, Silkies and Beilefelders so slowly getting rid of my barnyard stock. Some are on the NOT FOR FOOD list

Made the mistake of naming all my old ones lol

Great photos and so many new hatching friends:) I still have company and it's taking up my extra time along with a trip to help a relative with a bad knee fall etc.

I got through app 7 pages of posts...........wow it's up to over 700:) way to go Sally!!!!!

I have 3 pips this morning and 26 eggs just sitting there... Taunting me! These Marans drive me CRAZY I should have picked an easier breed lol. I hope it will be better with fresh eggs rather than shipped.
But once they're born, they're all worth it! I'm wondering how the heat was during incubation? Mine all seemed to pip by day 20, and the last few for this hatch actually hatched on day 21. So either my heat was running a little high, or yours a little low?
