I think that making RSL requires using the silver gene. RIW females have only 1 copy of this gene located on the z chromosome. RIR males do not have the silver gene. When crossed, the outcome should be that the Female offspring inherit the w chromosome from the female parent. Since there is no silver gene on the w chromosome, the female offspring should be red. Alternatively, the male offspring inherit the z chromosome from their mother (which is where the dominant silver gene is located) so all of her sons should be mostly (if not all) white. That is my understanding and I hope someone will correct me if I'm wrong.I don't know, but I hope not... That is also the one with white wing feathers....
