Hard night on the Roo's here. 15 cockerels soaking in an iced salt water cooler. Soak for a couple of days, rinse, vacuum seal and freeze.

Brit and I are pretty efficient chicken killer plucker cleaning machines. Start to finish and cleaned up in under an hour.

Nothing like finishing off the weekend with a pool party for the Roos!

This is the male the female still is a little not wet but not fluffy. Thank you all for your help and advise so I could have my first hatch! !!!

24 out of 34 moved to the brooder. Incubator is still going but not sure anything else will hatch. Have a few pips and one that zipped but didn't make it out. Plan to give it till tomorrow afternoon maybe Tues but then it's time to get it cleaned out and ready to set for front of April.
