@BantyChooks first of all, you gotta change yer avy, I think your chaos
they are still in my livingroom, they are spoiled but we now have another goose in the brooder and nine more baby ducklings, so somethings gotta get moved lol. Kids say if I move the ducks to garage they wont get to hold them and spoil them. Wish I could figure something out temp on the front deck for them, then they can still put them in the bathtub and stuff.

x2 BANTI I need a recap please!!
But..... But...... Chocolate is salad!

Emu take about 55-60 days to incubate. But you can see the eggs start moving somewhere around day 30-35. Big embryos make the eggs wiggle when they dance around inside

CC I had a hen that laid 2 eggs a day 3 times a week. For about two months. Now I'm lucky to get 3 eggs a week out of her. I know it was her as she was the only hen laying a blue egg in the bunch of brown layers. I too thought it was me missing the eggs. But it happened too many times.

I've got to change out the bedding for fresh. Had it overly deep for warmth, but they kick most of it up around the sides, anyway. I've found eggs partially buried. I'll be surprised if I don't find more when I take it all out.
