Here's a bit of bragging, lol... all eggs from my own flocks...

And just an fyi, I have donated hatching eggs as prizes in the NYDHAL, to be sent out in Spring...

Which is a total bummer to me, since I missed the best hatch rate prize deadline.

Best Hatch RateFirst Prize: Hatching eggs from @RavynFallen or drawing from @Peep-Chicken Second Prize: BYC 2015 Calendar participants will need to be setting a minimum of 6 eggs. These can be under broodies or in your incubators. Send @ronott1a pm letting him know how many you will have cooking. We'll need that info by the 3rd of Jan at the latest to be included in the contest. When the hatch is over, you'll take a pic and post it to show us how many you actually hatched. The picture must be of sufficient quality to count all the chicks. In the event of a tie, the one who hatches the most chicks wins.

But it's the cheapest brinsea! It was $100, not super awful if it's reliable! Only does 10 standard hen eggs though & is a manual turn... I've spent more than that on my girls XD

Ok, Silkies out of the hatcher and headed for the brooder. The box they are in is just holding and moving, it is not the brooder. 26 for 28 on these.

Gorgeous little fluff balls! Iam currently on day 19 for 10 silkies in the ole hovabator and hope to have some of those cuties before the weekend is over!
I will be setting another 24 for the new year HAL as well. Older, sexable silkies sell better for me in the spring, and besides, it's fun having a buch of fur balls running around for three months to enjoy!
