Yes those are pores in the eggshell. You notice the last pic doesn't have near as many, but that egg was not in the shipment. Is that what all the speckles are, porousness? I have 3 clear eggs that look like that.
That's good to that they arrived safe and sound with good air cells. They don't look all that dirty but it's understandable that paying as much as you probably did for them that you'd expect cleaner eggs. Letting them rest before putting them in right? The eggs are here! Sorry for the monster post but here they are...

I probably missed a couple in there, but this is one of mine (I'm not hatching it)

In my opinion, these eggs arrived too dirty. I also think they look very porous. They all arrived unbroken and no cracks, and all of the air cells are still attatched, with only 2 slightly wiggly. A couple eggs had what appears to be dried yolk from a broken egg (but no broken eggs).
Any thoughts?
Yes sir! Resting now. I'm more concerned about the shell quality I think. I've never set eggs that porous before. I'm gonna try to hatch them nonetheless, but was wondering if anyone had any luck with eggs that porous. That's good to that they arrived safe and sound with good air cells. The way I understand it, The more pores there are and the bigger the pores, the eggs are more prone to bacterial infection, but I could be wrong. Are pores of that amount dangerous, or unwelcomed?
Can't say as I've had them that porous before. Will have to keep a close eye on the air cells. Hope your able to get some good chicks out of the group.Yes sir! Resting now.
