Our hatched chicks that are 3 and 4 days old got moved outside into their dog kennel brooder in the run with a heat pad cave. Everyone is doing well and wing feathers are developing fast.

I lost a gooser think he had lung issues since hatch since he was purple and ended up dehydrated not drinking but I have this one at least

I have never seen this, but can visualize this ad a great use for holey and mateless socks.

Good morning all!!  You are way too busy here this morning, I can't keep up!  

My hatch is still hatching - day 22.  Sometime early this morning I had 3 more Salmon Favorelles hatch, so I now have 8 out of 9 of my silkies, and 10 of 13 shipped SFs.  I have 2 more pips on the SFs, let's hope they hatch!

my best friend worked in a chicken processing plant when she was younger - for YEARS after that, she wouldn't eat chicken.  Hopefully conditions are more humane these days....
