My last house, I liked the neighbors on either side, but never got to know the ones behind - there was a steep hill down to those houses. I didn't know too many others in the neighborhood, even though I lived there for 10 years...Some people like there neighbors and I have no problem with that..........I'm not one of those peopleThan again I'm not much of a people person either.![]()
Not so funny story on one of the neighbors directly across the street....my daughter USED TO have REALLY dangerous seizures and sometimes would have to go to the hospital. One day my mom was home alone with her and didn't know what to do, so I had her call 911. Of course, the paramedics aren't the only ones to come - the hook and ladder, and every fire truck from the station pulled up. That creates looky-loos. The paramedics evaluated her, they just picked her up and carried a totally limp child in their arms out to the ambulance. The neighbors thought she might be dead. One of them, a child (5 years old) definitely thought she was dead. So, the next day when she saw my daughter walking around, she said she must be a zombie and FREAKED OUT! For the next 6 years, she was afraid of her.
My new house, Of the 4 neighbors I've met. 2 have been really nice, 2 have been horrible, nasty, obnoxious sub humans.
