I'm not sure how either of those two you showed would install or how they would operate. The STC lookalike seemed fairly straight forward on how to wire the back of it and it seems more user friendly.

I'm not sure what else you would need with the two you listed. Add-ons are something else to add into the cost.

Wonder if this little guy would run with a homemade cotton wick and put on a 2ltr soda bottle.....
Thinking a hose and humidity controller may work with this? and for a wick to lengthen perhaps a small pc of pvc with holes drilled in it and tampons in it lol

Looks good. At first I thought that hydro thermometer only read in Celsius but after going to the manufacturers page It does read in Fahrenheit. The panel is designed to fit through a mounting hole so the surface is flush. and I like the port position for the USB. Not to worry about the rounded edges. These kinds of mounts are designed to go through an oblong hole the out side flange covers any irregularities.

The deal is one usb port is just for the heating element on the bottle humidifier. It only needs a charging hub whiich you can buy for about four bucks at walmart. That plugs into power. I dont see how it can be controlled unless you plug the power into a controller that allows the power to be shut off and on.

Also I would wonder how long that humidifier is rated to last. How many hours. Most eletronic components have a life span rating.
