I just went out to mist the fruit again and it's already up to 32F. No worries.

At 28F after blossom drop you can expect to lose 10%. At 25F you'll lose 90%.

Here we seldom get enough chill hours for fruit to set properly. Still does ok.

Well, she squished the runt, but it was not as mobile as well as being small. It is still sad. For a first litter eleven healthy is good for me. She will sell with them.

That's not awful. We had a sow that ate her entire litter. That was disturbing.

IMHO front porch is a poor place for an incubator. Primarily because of temperature swings with ambient air.
If the zone the incy is in has stable temperatures, the incy won't have to work as hard.

Glad it's raining, otherwise I'd feel like I've wasted a day with this cold of mine. Don't usually get these colds but with recent stress at work it got me.

So fishing on Monday what variety. Do you smoke the fish.
