@Sally Sunshine Thank you for the info!! My baby seems to have an injury to her hip. When I pick her up, her right leg with straighten, but when she starts to straighten the left, you can tell it hurts. She won't stand up, because she can't put any weight on her left leg. She is eating and drinking.

Should I treat all the chicks as if we do have it? Or should I wait until I hear back from the necropsy?

The rest of the chicks are active and healthy looking.

I am not sure when you say the leg issues!! that is strange!! they couldnt have gotten moldy feed or anything right?

Snowing here again.

Weatherman says 3-5" before it blows through then highs in the low 60's by Tuesday

Don't have the heart to tell Phil the radar shows this system is tracking his way....

I think snow is probably the least of his concerns, given the rough row he's had to hoe lately.

Does Sheldon Feed sell chicks?

Hi Kathy the feed store I go to is Bradshaw Feeds. Also says Fin Feather and Fur on the receipts. I've often thought of it as Sheldon Feeds but they must be a different store. There is also a feed store on White Rock Road. I don't go to that one as its a little further south for me.

Next time I'm in the area I'll see about checking them out. Been to Sheldon feed on Grantline Rd and thought it was a nice store.

Whoops got the wrong road for Sheldon feeds. That would be the same as Grantline Rd. I've been there it's just not as convenient as Bradshaw Feeds. How long have you been in Gilroy? I was raised in Salinas many moons ago.
