no but Dick helps the frustration level much better. We had a well for which he ran direct bury wire over the top of the soil. One day we didn't have water. Power left the box but didn't reach the well. That's when I found the wire run over land and an inside junction box not sealed. Wire nuts were upside down collecting water. Yep corrosion plus. Apparently he had run over it with his mower and "fixed it"

I was going to mention the 1st house we bought, with the washing machine that drained into perforated pipe buried in the backyard, and the roof that leaked 'cause every nail in the shingle roof was exposed at installation to save shingles, but I won't.

Depends how high you make the hoops.

I didn't ever get around to making the nest boxes for exterior collection and I still go in daily to gather eggs.

All I did was draw two lines down the plywood I had traced and cut and threw some cheap hinges on.

Also a piece of wood on the backside to help keep it from warping.

Of course this was free scrap 1/4" plywood someone threw out.

I put an eye hook on the backside and a bungee thru that hooked to the wire itself.

To prevent escapees.

I also did a "safety" hook and eye latch top and bottom.

We had a heavy rain one night. Next morning, as I headed out to go fishing, I noticed night crawlers all over the gravel lane. I spent most of the next hour gathering them up with a hemostat I use for removing hard-to-extract hooks from fish. As I pulled onto the paved lot at the pond, I noticed there were night crawlers all over it, as well; another hour. I carried them all home & set them on the DR table while I tried to find something to keep them in long-term. Turned out to be warmer than I thought in the house...lost every one of them.

There is a red heat lamp that I moved off to the side. Poop doesn't look red to me. But some is a bit looser than others. So I will treat the whole flock for Cocci?

I like doing things cheap or free even better. However too save money on things like that doing it over is far too much more in the long run. The reason inspectors were brought into existence.
