My two brooders really needed cleaned last night and I ended up not getting to do it...soooooooo I need to do it today...but not before COFFEE.

Unless anyone wants to come clean a couple of brooders...anyone? Hello? Don't all speak up at once!

Good point but the decaf I have I roast myself and it's nothing like what's in the store. Yummy think eggs from your hens or store bought. It's that different and regular coffee fresh roasted wow.

So here's the scoop... I was running all day.... I just plopped down $500
On new set of waders and boots.... Nicest stuff I've ever bought... I'm pretty proud of them.... Hitting the river tomorrow... Wish me luck.... If I can catch anything at least I'll look good doing it....

Okay now the chicken (duck) news.... For whoever it is that updated this stuff......I just set 12 more duck eggs.... And I'm starting a hatching journal..... Hopefully sooner of you all will give me more great advice as I go through this next journey... I hope to find ways to move some birds along the way.... And grow this onto a nice Little hobby....

Learned that they are once again planning to cut manning but expect the same work load. It's gonna be interesting. "More with less" can only sustain itself for so long before it crashes to the point of no recovery. Unfortunately I think it might have to come to that for some people to realize. Well that's a recap for my evening. Oh and I moved the parts under the axle. Not very optimistic but hey its worth a shot right?

I'm a meat hunter.... That's my reason for hunting..... I respect the trophy hunters too...... But I hunt to provide meat for the table..... When I booted hunt I always pick the smallest deer... Up here that fewer probably won't survive a U.P. winter and if it does the wolves will get it anyway..... So I let the bigger deer go....

Well, I booted all fifty chicks that have been brooding in my main coop one at a time out the pop door so I could clean the coop. I had tried putting a couple out last week to encourage them, but it did not work. This time I did not want to step on one while cleaning and refilling the poop board that was emptied when I sterilized the coop. Here they are enjoying their first time outside after they stopped being so afraid.
Does anyone know how to teach them to go back inside at night without strong encouragement?

Yesterday when I got home they had gone out by themselves which I enjoyed, but did not photograph. I did have to work to get them in at dusk. They were crowded in the covered area, but were not going up and in.

Yes! So much better, thank you! I've got a lingering cough...baby does too...but yesterday finally made him fever free for over 24hrs!! So we're definitely doing better here.
