Ya gotta multitask whites. One hand for the beer and the other for BYC.

An old doctor became very bored in retirement and decided to re-open his medical clinic. He putDr. Geezer’s Clinic:
I think most OTC meds, for animals and humans, is probably under-dosed, 'cause the manufactures figure the consumer is going to go the "more is better" routeI did start one, but it sort of lost momentum.![]()
For tapes you need something with praziquantel. Many people have use Zimectrin Gold or EquiMax. Pretty sure the praziquantel dose needed for chicken tapes is 10 mg/kg, so a 5 pound chicken needs 22.72 mg of praziquantel.
Zimectrin Gold dose for a five pound bird = 5 / 2.2 x 10 / 77.5 = 0.3 ml
EquiMAX dose for a five pound bird = 5 / 2.2 x 10 / 140.3 = 0.16 ml
Bang for the buck, EquiMAX is what I would pick. Note that the amount of ivermectin in either paste is more than they should be given, but many people on BYC give it without any ill effects.

Very trueFunnier the first time or second time? Howdy Sir Ur.
Better than a dummy pants.
For tapes your need praziquantel, which is in Zimectrin Gold and EquiMAX. Both of those also have ivermectin. Neither drug is approved for laying hens.
Did they look like these?

Woohoo!!!Things are looking up in the mower wars!
Just took it down the road about 20 miles to an auto mechanic who also works on mowers. Was referred by another shop that has a backlog as big as the dealer I've been waiting for. This guy's supposed to be pretty sharp @ fixing electrical problems. We'll see.

Dropping a swarm with a 12 gauge would be pretty impressive. That's where the term '2 fisted drinker' comes from.
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
I split my one good hive 2 weeks ago hoping to make another and keep the original from swarming. It swarmed today. I just set up a swarm trap. Now I'm trying to find my tallest ladder and try to recapture it. It's up about 20 feet or more. The last time I caught one of my swarms, I had a bucket truck. It was up about 35' over a coop. There was no way I'd have gotten it with ladders.
I once saw a video of someone using a 12 gauge to drop a swarm out of a tree. It dropped right in the bucket below.
Quote: Yes, and to land it in the bucket below even more so.
