All I know is you precede the username with @  ( @kwhites634 ) and I get the post. I've seen others say they get an email alerting them that they have a message; I've never gotten one 

What I was telling you is that St. Croix makes their rods in Park Falls WI & sells the 2nd's for far below normal price. I looked at one when I was there last year that normally sells for $100+, for $30...nothing wrong with it as far as I could tell.

I thought perhaps if you were going near there or know someone who is, it might be worth checking out.

I know you have to use the at symbol on the reply box, and you might want to check your settings. I know you can stop them so I think you can do the opposite.

I see where Nifty was telling someone that the emails they were sending were bouncing back because they didn't have a yahoo account (or something along those lines, anyway)  I sent him a post asking if a yahoo account was prerequisite to email notification...I have AOL

I have gmail on mine.

IDK...I'll see what Nifty has to say. Never having had it, I can't say I miss it. This system of mine is flaky at best; seems to have a mind of it's own, and Hughesnet doesn't help any.

I was getting them, then they stopped. Then they started again after I un check asking for them and re checked it. Got them for 3 days and they stopped again.

Sounds suspiciously like a BYC glitch to me.
