Duckling has been busy riding downhill in her wagon ( it belong to my nephew 18 years ago!) and chasing the baby animals around. She might be snotty, but she is still having fun!

Does anyone know "Bringing Home My Baby Bumblebee"? If you do, you understand why teaching it to Duckling was a bad idea. Now she keeps licking her hands. After the second time around, she was able to do the motions.

I was never a big fan but he sure was a prolific writer. He got in trouble from his record label for writing too many songs. He was kicking them out at the rate of one a day.

39 albums, 4 movies, 7 Grammys, 1 Golden Globe and an Academy Award.

He wrote lots of songs that made other people famous. Some he submitted under pseudonyms.

I was a huge fan of his in middle school/9th grade - I had 1999 and Purple Rain on vinyl. Very talented man. Last year I finally broke down and bought them on iTunes and have been listening to them all day - I'm sure no one will be surprised to hear that I still remember all the words to ALL the songs... (I need a brain enema.)

Taking a break from chores for lunch, but I gotta say - you can get a LOT more chores done outside while listening to "Little Red Corvette" than listening to NPR...

My mother still has an audio cassette of me at three years old reciting the following (which we did every Thanksgiving):

"Gobble gobble, said the turkey.
Soon it will be Thanksgiving day.
Will you eat me?
How you treat me!!
I think I'll run away..."

(I loved eating turkey as a child.

Taking a break from chorse as well. The fly trap solution you spoke of does it attract the smaller fly I usually refer to it as Cattle Fly not sure of its name? The trap I use has a piece of meat with water. In a couple days it's cooking right along however the smaller flies are not as attracted to it as I'd like. So fly strips which are too expensive is what I use.

On the turkey note the best card I've seen was with two turkeys talking together, one says to the other wait.....they put the dressing where!!!
