I don't remember if I posted these and I am too lazy to readback.... So if I did, you will have to look at these twice. Oh the agony. :D

Congratulations! I loved the open beak one.

@DwayneNLiz Did you find your Polish?
@Fire Ant Farm Funny hail story. They are talking hail to softball and grapefruit size tonight just west of here. That can kill people and livestock. Hopefully it and the tornadoes don't happen.

No she is still missing, but 3 of her 5 eggs are developing in my incubator :) i hope the other 2 will as well, i set them 2 days later i think

I'm sorry but I do not understand.
I'm sorry too. I didn't mean to imply that my rant was directed toward you. Just poultry breeders in general.

You could call a tire shop and see if they have a junk one.
@ChickenCanoe Thanks for the help. All done except one that appears to be herniated. I remember him having a very swollen butt from being stepped on. A vet trip for him.
You can try coffee grounds around your hives ants especially wood ants hate coffee grounds. We used them to save a tree. How is your hive split going?
@chicken hawk 33 So what all did you get in your hatch?
@LittleLakePhil Bonfire envy. I need to burn, but the spring winds won't let me
We never used vets for pigs - nor cows, horses, pheasant, chickens, etc.. Rarely for a dog. That was a different time.
As for weaning, the sow will do it herself but we usually took them away at about 8 weeks. By the 70s, they started weaning at 4 weeks. Younger than that creates problems.
They still wean at about 3 weeks but I liked to wait much longer.

Some Israeli Anconas!

I love Anconas but I never had roosters, only hens.

Thanks but this one is the birds of one of my associates that live near me he is a wonderful breeder and we collaborate. I can get any of it's wonderful birds but my DW have some outer notion abaout the right number of chiken that someone need to have and I can assure you that it is WAY smaller than the number I have in MY mind.....
My wife is the same way. Every time I incubate, she says, " I don't think we need any more chickens".
She doesn't get it, or doesn't want to.

That looks like our orchard 60 years ago - without the water feature.

Hey! That's what I grew up with. I didn't know how many breeds there were when I was a kid.

We had a severe storm move through. Lots of power outages but we are still connected.
I'll be back after I clear the driveway. Some big oak branches fell and no one will be able to get their cars in till I clear it.
