The hens lay a very dark brown egg.
Leghorns, as far as I know, all lay white

Probably good idea. I have a mixed flock of two bredas: silver and shadow, one silkie: clementine, and those are our only egg layers. Two easter eggers: chestnut and hazelnut, two crested magpie ducks: magpie and katie, then there is the young ones, two khaki campbell ducks: quackers and corduroy, two more easter eggers: Gertrude and harriot, two white sultans: lady cluck (clucky) and flow, and finally two millie flore d'uccles: flora and clover.

Yeah but it's not every chicken and I'm still learning. We're probably going to incubate and raise eggs sometime but we need our incubator first.
