I just candled. I tossed six eggs out of 15. Two Pekin and 7 SPR remain. Small aircells (I am fixing) and low heat (I doubt raising temps 2* for the last week will do me any good. Will it? Regardless, I might have room for more chicks now. Maybe. Kinda. Sorta.

maybe kinda sorta eh? hmmmmm

I just keep finding more forums to chirp in! Lol how do you keep up with all these post. I love this site I think I'm here more than I'm on Facebook now. I did a quick check of my eggs lost an ayam cemani. But all 30 others I see movement even the "twin" egg is still hanging in there saddle and loose air cell and all.

Hybrid Vigor is definitely a real thing!

Absolutely! Right now we have a couple of young hens that are just starting to cluck. They are Pekin x something. We suspect the mother may have been the pekin x Essex "roo" I mentioned before here roosterliness hit critical mass. They are beautiful chickens with long leg feathers, The oldest is a gradient cream / brown with laced feathers and a wonderful upright rudder tail. The other is similar but in grey and no rudder.
We've also ended up with interesting a run of clone salmon furnace Pekins, and mysteriously a furnace Silkie x from different parents.

Your welcome. Good luck with your hatch.
Thanks! Hopefully I can get around to ordering another tray and work out something for an incubator box so my idea can reach fruition too. Not going to lie but I'm loving the unfinished prototype bits on the hatcher. I can monitor the temperature and humidity from the PC in realtime. When I finish it's going to graph the data too so I can see what's been happening while I'm not around.
I also designed it so it can cool as well as heat. Temperatures get up near 50*C during summer here.

Sounds like you are working on a pretty sweet setup.
