What humidity are you running during incubation? I'm guessing southern hemisphere since it's getting colder were you are.
At the moment it's been hanging around 56% in the incubator according to the terrarium thing. The hatcher is telling me 38%. Different entities though.

Sooner or later I am going to say something too clearly.

Most people will run the incubator somewhere in the 30's and the hatcher right around 70%

HUMIDITY Humidity is NOT a set number!

Its a tool to get the correct weight loss in the egg! post #7068 see Hatching Eggs 101

Never heard of a bitzer before...
bitzer this, bitzer that.
I think she's rhode island red x Essex x Silkie x bantam Australorp x ???. She's just a smallish white-ish generic looking chicken with 5 toes, but a real potent genetic cauldron.
Speaking of which we have a black supposedly pure Australorp who matured into a furnace rump-less roo with a sort of pea comb. It's like a triple comb with the outer two extending past the nostrils. We also had until recently a Pekin x Essex hen that anyone would swear blind was a fantastic rooster. She's living with someone else now because she was dominating the other roos.

Ouch I have had 2nd degree sunburn with blisters and scabs before it was really 3rd degree in some places. Talk about miserable. They make an aloe with I think its lidocaine in it that is called ice or something it's wonderful and better if you keep it refridgerated.

I am definitely more of a albino/tomato person lol I wish I could tan more DH2B gets so tan during the summer(a farmer) that he looks Latino. Lol hope our kids get his complexion someday.

@Sally Sunshine

Hi Dear been crazy busy lately but I wanted some help if you can. The incubator was running about 28% humidity which I'm fine with BC the eggs are a bit behind due to the stagger, but we got rain last night and the humidity jumped up to 37% and even higher. I have two small bowls of rice in the bator but is there something else I can do?
I can believe miserable!! not sure what to tell you, I wouldnt worry at 37 whats the weather looking like???
