I will be candling days 7 (this Friday) and 18 (March 24) when we go into lockdown. #6 will be Dr Strange if it is a hen OR a roo! I love it!

Day 4 Updates (Doing this now because we're getting wicked storms tonight):

Day 4 Update (3/10):
• 7:25 AM:
- Entered Day 4 with a calibrated reading of 99.2°F.

• Overnight Performance:
- Maintained a rock-solid plateau between 99.3°F – 99.6°F thanks to the room heat increase and blanket.
- Humidity: Currently 63.6%.

• 11:30 am
- Adjusted blanket to be completely wrapped around machine. In doing so, spilled some of the water on the floor of the incubator. Expected humidity to increase.
- Unwrapped the incubator before leaving for work as temp was reaching 99.6.

• 5:20 PM:
- Forensic check confirms removing the blanket before work was successful.
- Temp stabilized at 99.5°F - 100.0°F all afternoon using only room heat (80°F).
- Humidity naturally declining after morning spill.

• 8:35 PM:
- Temp dipped to 99.2° at 7:30, added blanket
- Currently Stable at 99.4°F
- Humidity: Holding at 65.3%.
- Possible power outage due to major thunderstorms tonight. Currently under tornado watch.
- Readiness Checklist at hand and I have hot water bottles and tape ready in case I need them
