INCUBATING w/FRIENDS! w/Sally Sunshine Shipped Eggs No problem!

Hey guys, this is my first time incubating. I have 2 eggs that are pipping but no actual hike through the shell, just cracks. They have been like this since this afternoon with no progress. Should I be worried?

Can take 24 hours or more to start to zip. Some are super fast, others take their time!

Thank you! I was just worried because I didn't know if they needed a hole for oxygen at this point or not

LOL, you will have a sleepless night if you are like a lot of us. We'll get up and stare at the crack with a flashlight several times. chances are it won't do anything for several more hours.

Once it starts to zip, it should finish that pretty quickly, but from PIP to ZIP it is a slow process.

Haha! We are getting absolutely nothing done around the house........ Every few minutes one of us is getting up to see if anything is different!

I have 12 silverudd Blues (isbars) so far we have 4 pipping, but we've only seen/ heard anything from one of them!

Nice, should be pretty chicks!! I rarely hear chirping, never see rocking and I still have good hatches. Good luck!!!!

Today is day 20 for the eggs under the serama hen, Hoping they start popping out tomorrow!
