Thanks Kathy We fished locally at Lake McSwain. I've always caught trout there in the past, and occasionally a bass about halfway up towards the (Exchequer) dam.

For those discussing worming, especially continually upping dosages, perhaps this would be another option to try as a means of breaking the chemical anthelmintic cycle.

I would like to see some studies that back up this product and the others like it. As for upping doses, I'm just going by what's in text books vs what's on the label.

The Safeguard label has what's considered by vets and goat/sheep people to be an ineffective dose.

I do know how to do the salt water method. I need to do it but with this hatch I incubated in my Brinker Economy and wanted to hatch in my Farm Innovator forced air since I have super expensive polish eggs arriving any day. What is everyone feeding their ducks, guineas and geese? protein wise age? and what extras do you treat them with? And when do the males get those curly tails?

Mine get medicated turkey crumbles (27%) until they are out of the brooder and free ranging, or sold. No treats. I have mostly Muscovies, so not sure when they get the curly tail. I only feed them turkey crumbles because that's what my peafowl get and I don't have room for a duck specific feed. If I were going to feed just ducklings, I guess I would probably buy something like flock raiser.
