Yup - kicked them all out and have 7 littles in the last brooder from the spring HAL. One of my salmon faverolles died but I almost expected it because it was about half the size of the other 3 that hatched.
Now I'm trying to sell and find new homes for lots of the Easter HAL kids...they're getting huge!

Sorry to hear about the one who kicked the bucket. My EHAL ones are getting big quickly as well. I kicked the three duckies from the April HAL outta the basement last night and into the garage brooder.

It was... Then last night I saw it stumbling. I have never had to deal with Wry neck, but I am pretty sure it is. I just don't think I should do anything for it with a messed up foot too. I know the humidity was messed up (and the temperatures. I am horrible, and deserve to be tortured) but I don't see what that has to do with an extra toe AND flat foot AND the Wry Neck.

Okee dokee. Here's what's up with the "special" one. It may have just had a hard hatch. It isn't walking, but I just now took it from the incubator. Its foot is okay, and with the swelling gone, it doesn't have the extra toe I thought it did. Its neck seems fine too... For now. If I can't tell who is who later, I will know nothing is wrong.

Happy Friday the 13TH!!

we've had so much going on with the end of school coming up here - I'm wayyyyy behind! Even now I'm just grabbing some quick coffee and then little man and I have to get to my oldest's school for his field day. We've literally had something every day whether it's field days, recitals, field trips, etc and this next week is the LAST week...so we've got awards ceremonies Mon & Tues...my youngest daughter's field day Wed and early release for last day of school on Thurs for all kiddos!!
How is everyone? Have I missed any new happenings?? Hope y'all are well!!
