I'm a pet chicken keeper and I sure appreciate you! you aren't rough about tellin someone stuff at all! I can't imagine why anyone would mistake honesty for roughness, those are two very diffierent things....

Morning everyone

I've been looking high and low for some more eggs to set this week and was able to find someone from here on byc with some nice birds who is collecting eggs to send in a few days!!! Wooohooo!!

Not sure how many yet, but I should be getting blue/black/splash copper Marans and blue/black/splash standard Cochins. Possibly some bantams too ;-)

...and I'm still looking for some additional eggs (brown layers) as I can't meet egg demand right now. There is just nothing locally for sale so I'm stuck with shipped eggs again.

I'm still going to set my own eggs Friday as well.

Eeeeee!!! How cute!! Reminds me of the videos I took of the bantam batch this last spring!!!!

Thank you, Bubbles! Had to get a shot of Max in the vid... he's awfully fretful of his new babies. I was tickled when the chick at the end of the vid came up and started pecking my cell... lol!

I held one of the chicks in front of him and he licked it like crazy. Don't know if he was sampling it or loving it! LOL! He does the same thing with kittens...

Chick cleaned teeth can save you a trip to the dentist's office. Just saying...
