Arghhh! My dog, despite being a young puppy actually almost got Jace when she escaped when we were letting her off-leash. I was in the fence, and jace and the dog were on .the outside!One of my dogs, watching over the chicks. (some of the goldens are hard to see in the leaves)At first I was likewhen I saw the dog, but then I thought you would never let a chicken killer within a mile of your chicks! I can only wish my dog thought the same of chickens...... The phone thing was just hilarious! My chicks did that with my teeth which wasnt' very fun!
I just put my hand through the fence and grabbed her collar, but she woulda gotten Jace had I not had my hand over Jace's back.... That hurt! I am now working hard to get her to ignore the chickens.
