If you've got a lot of posts to sink, you might want to check into getting a gas powered auger. Like you, we have our share of rock, but I only had a few that stopped me. Sure saved a lot of back-breaking work & blisters.

Thankfully I've got a neighbor down the road with a 3 point post hole digger we can borrow. We just go through a lot of shear pins and seems about every 3-4 holes we find a monster that jams the whole dang tractor up.

Crystal, my silver OE hen, has decided to sit eggs. I stuffed eggs from my other hens under her. So she is sitting on SPBWs, OE's, and OE/Sapphire and one SPBW/SBEL. Finger's crossed.
