I feel like I am peeling my face of right now! My poor eggs suffered through an 11 hr black out, an 8 hr black out, and now Hubby wants to fix the water heater, guess what yes turn off the power in house while he goes to the hardware store for the wrong part, then the incubator is in the way of the hot water heater, Then it is not then it is, then put it back in front of the water heater but don't go near the water heater after I almost drop the incubator , clanging the eggs together. now I have them on a hand warmer again until he gets his new parts, and I can go near the water heater again....oh and by the way "why am I being sassy?" Today feels like

Wow, lock down for my little eggs is coming up..On Tues.  But, I usually lock down the night before day 18..so Monday night!

Grade AA eggs. Almost as fresh as you can get without catching it as it falls from the hen... lol!

YAY!! Out of 32 I only have 3 with saddle air cells and I can't see any with detached air cells! Whoot Whoot!!! The are resting at a nice 72 degrees waiting for me to be able to set them!!

the best way to "delete" a post is to hit the edit button on your post delete all the text, write [deleted] in its place and save. Works for me

I think the edit goes away after a few weeks.

less humidity, but you always do.... but again its those air cells and age of eggs, marans tend to have bigger thicker eggs I run temps at 100.5-101 I am actually very upset right now speaking of marans, I just was out with juvies and I smelled something and I told you hubs has been doing the majority of the work out there, well the new layers I had gotten were two buff orfs that I always wanted, two cuckoo marans, two whites that I have no clue what they are yet, I went to take pictures of them and never got to it I am so upset.... anyways.... the stink is a buff orf looks like her foot is stuck in a skid crack and right where hubs couldnt have possibly have missed her either. I am going to have his head when he comes home. I am so so upset, she was so pretty cynthia I got all the others just because I wanted two orphs I NEVER BUY CHICKS!!! No it's pretty common actually. It's more uncommon if they are dark.
