Practically the entire city is out of power, stores and all. I work at a large hospital here and even it lost power. Luckily they have a backup generator that kicked in. My parents live an hour from me, I'm going to head over there with the eggs because they currently still have power.

Ugh, our power went out at home, and I'm stuck at work for another 4 hours

I told my husband to throw towels/blankets over it and not to touch it. I hope the power at home comes back up before they cool off too much! We have a generator up and running for the fridges, a heat lamp for Fuzzybutt, I don't think they connected the bator tho. Apparently there is a tree down across the drive way so I may not be able to GET home... @Hawk12 Maybe I should come visit you for a while LOL!

ETA: ok the driveway isn't TOO long. but I don't want to leave my vehicle in the road... More trees to crush it down there! Gotta talk my FIL to keeping some large branches for roosts...
