not nessicarily. The embryo will decide when to hatch when it is most convent for them

Well, there is not Mich you can do at this point. I would guess because of your low temps they might take a little longer to hatch. But that's a guess

on how light or dark inside? depends on egg shell color, how bright flashlight too.... my eggs are hard to see in, but I have a 3000 lumens and this is a blue legbar day 18 lockdown drawdown begun, my aircells got a bit too big for my liking, we started running the coal stove and we hadnt had rain and it started to dry up in the house from day 14 to 18 made too much of a difference, you have to be aware of your climate in your home and bator. I asked hubs to add water one eve, but he said he only but one cup in, he never filled it completely, and that only lasted 1.5 days do my dismay, I should have done it myself. how many times do I have to tell my self that until I learn????

Good advice for those without a backup. If I have to, I can always yank the battery out of my truck to keep my incubator running. That's just another advantage to having an incubator that operates on 12V.

Can also use an inverter that plugs into the cigarette lighter (or equivalent) and converts 12v DC to 110 AC

It's is a white leghorn egg,and a production red brown shell.I am using the led flashlight on my phone.Their are no blood vessels are anything in the pointed end.I can't get a pick of it.

It,looks kinda like this,but no veins and clear at pointed end.
