Just be careful and fast, have the water and any tissues or whatever handy before you open the bator.

Use water that is the same temp as the bator. Use very warm water to fill so your temp doesn't drop and if it's warm it humidifies faster.

I did but then I got some drops on the bottom from it splashing.and egg that isn't pipped yet but I put water and shut it right BACK
