Good After morning everyone!!! I just candled for day 14 with my silly little homemade bator. Out of 13 eggs, I have 3 clears, which happen to be all my pure Delaware eggs. 10 are swimming and growing. Even the one I thought I had lost. So far so good. Fingers crossed for further success.

You can add to my info: Using home made styro w/fan/thermostat/2 x 40W bulbs. Dry hatch. Experimenting with gender selection.

I am prayin I can sell again in the spring!!! I need to get on these threads like you do, as I am going to go more the egg route this time instead of chicks, although I love to incubate, I think it is less work for me.

She's still kicking with her giant scab bottom I have her separated out in a clear Tupperware so the others don't pick on her, but she can see and hear them.

We have an external pip!

My husband was on the verge of giving up hope on that single araucana egg even after seeing internal pip because there was no external sign/no loud cheeping. Only to have a huge crack in it this morning! yay!
