while I am away the chicks will play! gonna put them in the brooder soon!

I can imagine! Do you drop the G's off the ends of words? Do you say restrunt instead of three syllables- restaurant?

Yes dew clay. French meaning, "of the town Clay". To say it any other way makes no sense at all....
