How chicken friendly is your area? That's the best thing about my neck of the woods. My roosters are not the only ones heard crowing in the mornings. By far, the most, but not the only ones. I saw the owl. I have a lot of hawks. All I will say is I'm against relocationI'm the only one with chickens for at least 7 miles. But I also have things like macaws, so I can't have neighbors. I am on my OWN planet.
As far as predators....We have them all. Except bears. No bears.
