Here is the Christmas Eve babies. They have already been taken out of these turners and put into the cabinet.

ok so you know that you have them in air cell up at least, correct.

temp at top of eggs in still air is what? and humidity is what?

Why not, CH? You're supposed to candle them so you will know which end of the eggs have the air cell. The air cell must be on the top when you put them in the incubator.

I don't very often but did most of these. I also took some pics of candling a dark Maran egg. I use the light on my iPhone and nothing else to candle with. I've tried about every method and just use my phone instead. I'll get those pics posted maybe tomorrow.

I should also say that my Maran eggs normally don't have a pointy end so you have to candle and mark the air cells in them.

Good tip and good idea, fire. I only recommended CH to candle his eggs because he said some were round...

I only do with shipped eggs, I wanted him to do it so we could better help him to keep track of humidity ..... and make sure air cells are upright of course

Understand. LOL. My air cell marking started with the Marans and I quit when I got bored.
