Now I know what to get myself for Christmas... lol! It was a stupid accident... I had my back to the saw and reached behind me. I won't make that mistake again!!! But yes... I'll have to check into a Sawstop. Thanks for the tip!

You ain't lived til you cut yourself with a running chain saw! Not serious, but a real eye opener. Been using chain saws for 40+ years w/o a problem; only takes once.

Sally, shhhhhh. Keep your voice down. I'm going to have some explaining to do if these are fertile, but if they're not then DH will never know I tried. Three Brabanter eggs and a barred pullet egg. I might add more today because one of my Brabanter hens went missing last night. I'm going to check the security cameras and search the property, but I'm worried I won't find her.

Heh heh heh.... Don't worry, they *wont* be fertile.... Perhaps some more for a more accurate test!?!

I was cutting up a downed pine tree, and my saw wasn't wanting to cooperate that day, so I had to keep revving it up so it would keep running. As I stepped across a pile of branches to limb the top... chain meets knee. Like you, not serious, but it wasn't fun finishing the cutting with a squishy boot. I was more upset about cutting my jeans than the cut knee...
