Sigh. I knew it was coming, but it is still hard.... Emma, my 7 1/2 year old EE, is slowing down. She doesn't run as fast, and although she still roosts high up, she is the last one down.she still has quality of life, but I have my doubts about her surviving the winter..... I just wish she was still young.

Just checked on my week-old Barred Rocks, and they're starting to get wing bars. See, this thread isn't all about hunting!
e that's great! It'd be nice if babies would stay that size and somehow laid eggs bigger then they we're. Could you imagine the chicken math that would start. ?
