This is where we are at now. Just gonna let it sit in the shell till it's ready to climb out. The other fuzz butts are its siblings (everyone else hatched Friday)
Now see, this is the life I could have lived. My grandmother didn't have cattle, but she had a lot of different fowl. We ate a lot of chicken from her place.
I didn't get elk, deer, antalope, wild quail, pheasant, and many other wild meats until I married. Went hunting a lot. We kept ourselves, and family in meat. We didn't live on a farm, but we loved having our freezer full of meat..and oh! Can't forget the fish! Loved, loved fishing. Lake Powell was one of my favorite places.
I know there are a few not wanting to talk hunting, or fishing, but after seeing photos, I just can't help myself..I love it. It's part of who I was and maybe some won't mind seeing/hearing about it. That was me. Loving the life in the mountains, hunting and fishing, and just camping.
Cynthia your such a gorgeous blonde, I always dye my hair all dif colors
always made my aunt so mad, she said I ruin my beautiful brown curly hair. I always did blonde red and all shades in between from my curly browns.. I wanted to be a hair dresser but daddy said no, so I went into computer programming instead, still makes me PO to this day! but I get to fiddle with it sometimes anyways
everyone always complains about my hair color cause they never know what I am gonna look like next. I dont do the blonde anymore since I hit my late 40's, I had to do that when I worked outside all the time cause anything I put in my hair bleached out right away anyways. see those dont look like me in my red and brown now at all
They sure do! You really should get a heat plate... it's amazing how calm the chicks are with it! Cheaper to operate, no fire hazard, and no glaring light. The chicks treat it just like a mama hen, and run under it when they get scared. The sounds you hear in the video is as loud as they ever get... which is very nice since they're in the basement directly below my bed. It's money well spent IMO.
