My neighbor had a lav roo I could have had, but a dog got it.

Such prettys.... I'm gonna try and get some lav hens next year.

I had two beautiful LO hens... for 4 days. Wish it could have turned out differently...

Okayyyyyy... truce. 

Girl, you haven't lived until you incubate and hatch your own eggs! Well... not exactly your own eggs, but your chicken eggs! Of course, hatching your own eggs can be kind of cool, too... but it takes a lot longer, and you have to feed and clothe the brats afterwards. Then they want all of your money... and the keys to your car? Stick with chickens!!!  

I said, truce......
Why do you think I'm counting down the days till march, and it isn't even winter yet?????
I can't wait to start incubating, and I know which egg will be the first! My blue EE eggs! I think my hen named Muffin lays them.

Cool! I bet it didn't hurt the one you had out. It wasn't open fully, so hope for the best. How long was it out?

I'm running 65-70% humidity right now. I just hate the wait on the lazy ducks...

I'm guessing about 10 mins.

oooo nooo!  I'm just getting started with LO's. 

I have 9 LOs, these eggs are theirs. 7 pullets, 2 cockerels. They are growing out nicely, but I only have 1 or 2 laying. I guess the others are gonna freeload till spring. I might hatch more later to keep, but a friend wants all that hatch from this batch.
