If there is slight bleeding at the navel use corn starch or a dab of cold water to stop the bleeding. You can also swab the umbilicus area with a 1% solution of Betadine and place the chick back in the bator to dry. If you do see this and the chick is already out of the shell dangling with this, use a clean sterile scissors to cut through them, DO NOT PULL as you can harm the chick’s navel!
But only the cords!
DO NOT CUT IF THERE IS UNABSORBED YOLK SACK!!

She HATCHED! But what's with her butt?

Please see below for info on unabsorbed yolk.

The chick BELOW had a large navel at hatch.
With some antibiotic ointment she had quickly absorbed the rest of that navel area and is now a fine young pullet!

hatched on it's own...was out when I got here this morning. Two others are hatched and look ok so far. The game bird has ATTACHED SACK...whole sack is attached and its dragging it around the bator. Yolk coming out too. How did it hatch like this?!?

Will it die???

do you have your brooder ready? its from that HOT SPIKE then danggggg

Bj grab some Betadine if you have it, if not... something that drys like veterycin

Get him out spray the umbilical/sack and put him on something soft in the brooder ALONE

It will need to dry out, and only time will tell if he makes it.

Try with electrolytes and give him a boost, DONT ASPIRATE it! just dip the beak and he should get the hang of it.

You want to get a head start while he is active.

In that spoiler I put other links you can read about chicks that made it..... I will say they dont in 80% case if not more.
