I don't know if it's normal for Leghorns or not. She lays almost daily but they always surprise me. I can never even touch my fingers around them but I can't even close the lid on the jumbo carton over this one

ooops thats one of my project eggs almost chicks! sweet! no double yolkers though right? them are hard on them and thats why I lost my brahma hen to egg binding.

Is there anything special I can do for her? They are always single yolkers except for the FIRST egg she laid after I got her... It had no yolk at all! I am sure it was from the stress of moving her here (she was about a year old when I bought her)

if they are not doubles she will be fine! always keep an eye out for egg binding and poop butts!
