well day 21 is almost over

Almost all of my big hatch happen on day 21, right on schedule. I never pull eggs until a couple days after hatch unless I need the hatcher. Point being, day 22 started at 5:30 this morning and 2 Turkens just hatched. Don't ask me why so late considering the other 100+ hatched on time. They'll come when they are ready, not a minute sooner.

@RussianChickens if it has been making no progress for more than 24 hours I would probably start to assist. Sally Sunshine has a good article on assisting chicks(not sure if she wrote it

) I hope your little chick makes it. I am not as experienced as some other members so hopefully more chime in, try to stable your humidity. How unstable is

He is the only chick I have. Only egg in the Bator I mean.

And he keeps wiggling in the egg. It seems like he would have began the zip by now as much as he is wiggling. Should I open the top and then wrap the wet towel?

If you're going to assist, forget the wet towel. Follow the assist post on page 1 closely.

It is your call. Last hatch I had a chick who needed help out of the shell. I made his pip a
Little bigger and then he finished by himself.
